Overview

AMCOLAB developed an e-commerce operations automation system by integrating Shopify, Kintone, and Ship&Co.

Before the project, order management, inventory checks, shipping label creation, tracking number updates, internal confirmations, and reporting were spread across multiple tools and manual workflows. This created a high operational workload and increased the risk of missed checks and data entry errors.

The system connects Shopify order data to Kintone and centralizes order management, inventory management, shipping operations, status tracking, and operational reporting. Through Ship&Co integration, the system also supports more efficient shipping label creation and tracking number management.

Rather than building a simple API connection, AMCOLAB designed the system around the real workflow of e-commerce operations, creating an ERP-lite operational foundation that can gradually automate the flow from order intake to shipping, inventory updates, and management review.

Challenges

Fragmented order data Order information was spread across Shopify, Kintone, CSV files, and internal spreadsheets.

Shopify Order Sync

The system separates logical inventory and physical inventory, helping distinguish reserved items, in-warehouse items, and items waiting for fulfillment.

Ship&Co Integration

The system supports shipping label creation, tracking number acquisition, and status updates, reducing manual work in shipping operations.

Kintone Operation Dashboard

Kintone views were designed so staff and managers can easily see statuses such as waiting for shipment, in progress, shipped, or low inventory.

ERP-lite Architecture

Instead of introducing a large ERP from the beginning, the system uses Kintone as a flexible foundation to automate operations step by step.
