Japan-based businesses were spending significant back-office staff time manually keying invoice data — vendor names, dates, amounts — into accounting systems
AMCOLAB built an AI extraction pipeline with two input paths: staff can photograph invoices via a LINE chatbot, or upload files directly to Google Drive
In both cases, Vertex AI OCR identifies and extracts structured data automatically — even from low-resolution scans or black-and-white prints — and saves it to Google Sheets, ready for accounting review without manual data entry.
